Sometimes life takes some unexpected turns. At 27, Pete Frates was diagnosed with ALS. For the last four years he has tirelessly dedicated his life to raising awareness for the disease and to finding its cure. He is the founder of the Ice Bucket Challenge which has raised over 250 million dollars for ALS research. The Ice Bucket necklace was originally inspired by the melting glaciers in the Italian Alps, and the seemingly insurmountable problem of global warming. It only seems natural to dedicate the piece and a portion of all its proceeds to the grand efforts of the Pete Frates #3 fund.
This necklace is a symphony of hand carved resin pyramid pieces that are tinted luminous spring colors to catch the light. Wear it in style and know that it represents and supports the dedication to find a cure for ALS.
